In our fabrication shop, granite polished smooth to the

Natural granite is porous and must be sealed after
installation. Bolfing Brothers Marble will seal the surface
at installation. After that necessary step it remains the
homeowner's responsibility to monitor use and reseal the
surface as often as normal wear dictates. All granite will
stain so it is imperative that spills be wiped immediately.
Even milk or water left to stand may penetrate if the user
is not diligent about maintaining the seal.
